"... el me Adese el capita a Verona par torse en brasso el fior de la cità". Così scriveva nella sua poesia El me Adese Berto Barbarani, ma Ignazio aggiunse: si, ma el te batesa tanti paesi, dove el ghe cambia el nome ma non el cognome.
Da qui nasce la ricerca di tutti i paesi con il cognome Adige, partendo da San Michele all'Adige, passando per Ronco, Albaredo, Villa, Piacenza, Santa Margherita, Santa Maria e finendo con Cavanella d'Adige. Paesi simili, paciosi come il fiume che li accarezza, tutti con i loro municipi, le chiese ed il bar dello sport, dove tra un'ombra ed una partita a carte si tira sera. Paesi che Ignazio ha, con la sua macchina fotografica, immortalato, facendo cosa gradita a tutti noi che non sapevamo dell'esistenza di questa grande famiglia, la famiglia "Adige". (Mario Passigato)
